UKOPRA has recieved 37 boat registrations since opening up the process 2 weeks ago.
There are 14 Marathon boats registered with 23 Class 3 boats signed up.
UKOPRA’s Kerry Bobin commented:
It is very encouraging so far, the target for 2018 has always been 50 boats.
The registration process has been simple, quick and at no cost to the competitors.
He continued:
We are now working on the racing licence issuance procedure, it will be an online process again.
Again, we will be implementing the simplest and most cost effective way possible for the racers.
