The Index awards committee have now checked and ratified the placings for the index award after the Poole round.

They are pleased to confirm that the proposed indexes worked exactly as planned with no discrepancies noted.

The indices have now been passed to the Trustees of the Guernsey Gold Cup for their use to determine the overall winner at this coming weekends round of the World Championships.

In verifying the first of the series results they have determined that the points allocation noted in the advance notice is not appropriate due to the large number of 34 entries received to the first round which will only increase.

The points allocation is now to be determined upon a 1000 point maximum award reducing by 5% for each placing.
